Join us in Glasgow!

We’re delighted to announce that the Reuse Network Regional Roadshows are back for 2025!

Catch the team at the Community Central Halls in Glasgow on 25 September for a day of connecting, problem-solving, and sharing experiences. It’s a ‘must attend’ for anyone in the reuse sector!

We are thrilled to announce The Appliance Recycling Group, and Currys and DHL as the headline sponsors of this year’s roadshows. Thanks to their support, we are able to offer discounted tickets to all Reuse Network members. As well as this, their sponsorship has helped us curate a diverse programme to support you in making the connections you need to grow your impact. Read on to find out more!

Get ready to elevate your impact

This year, our roadshows are designed to offer delegates practical solutions to address our sector’s common challenges and seize opportunities within the circular economy.  Expect lively discussions, informative workshops, and opportunities to build meaningful connections with industry peers.

Speaking at the Glasgow Regional Roadshow this year will be Martin Macleod, Chief Executive Officer of ILM Highland, one of our very own Reuse Network members. Martin will present insights from ILM Highland’s household electrical recycling service and discuss how the organisation is making WEEE recycling more accessible in rural areas.

Joining Martin will be James Dunbar, Chief Executive Officer of New Start Highland, another member of Reuse Network. James will be introducing New Start Highland’s new Training and Reuse Village, which is an innovative project that will feature pre-loved retail outlets, a bike repair hub, a tool library, cafe, and a training kitchen.

Rounding out our presentations on the day will be Marysia Crawford, Reuse and Repair Consultant at Zero Waste Scotland. Marysia will be sharing findings from Zero Waste Scotland’s recent ‘Habits and Attitudes to Second-hand Shopping’ survey and will share insights into consumer habits and future trends in reuse, and how the survey is guiding future support and initiatives in this area.

We’ll also be hosting workshops and round table discussions, allowing you to meet with colleagues and industry peers to discuss issues facing the sector, explore partnership working, and define the actions you want to take away from the event.

The Reuse Network team will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you have about the network and the benefits of membership.

This year we are bringing back the Reuse Network Awards which have been kindly sponsored by Viridor and will recognise the incredible achievements of our sector over the past year. At each of the events, one charity will win the prestigious Reuse Organisation of the Year award for impact in their region.
