Elland (event passed)

Join us in Elland!

We’re delighted to announce that the Reuse Network Regional Roadshows are back for 2025!

Catch the team at Project Colt, a Reuse Network member based in Elland, on 2 October for a day of connecting, problem-solving, and sharing experiences. It’s a ‘must attend’ for anyone in the reuse sector!

We are thrilled to announce The Appliance Recycling Group, and Currys and DHL as the headline sponsors of this year’s roadshows. Thanks to their support, we are able to offer discounted tickets to all Reuse Network members. As well as this, their sponsorship has helped us curate a diverse programme to support you in making the connections you need to grow your impact. Read on to find out more!

Get ready to elevate your impact

This year, our roadshows are designed to offer delegates practical solutions to address our sector’s common challenges and seize opportunities within the circular economy.  Expect lively discussions, informative workshops, and opportunities to build meaningful connections with industry peers.

Speaking at the Elland Regional Roadshow will be Stephen Buchanan, Chief Executive of Emmaus Preston, one of our very own Reuse Network members. Stephen will be sharing his experience of setting up one of the country’s largest charity shops, the Emmaus Department Store, as well as sharing updates of the impact the store is having in the local community.

Joining Stephen will be Gordon MacDonald, Reuse and Recycling Lead at Rebuild with Hope Foundation, another member of Reuse Network. Gordon will be introducing the organisation’s programme working with ex-offenders and sharing insights from the initiative and the impact it is having on both the charity and those it is supporting.

Finally, we’ll be hearing from our host charity for the day, Project Colt. Russell Davis, Project Colt’s Director, will be introducing the charity and will take us for a tour of the site, the historic Bridgefield Mills, a former textile mill. The building is now a thriving hub brimming with activities, workshops, and a unique pre-loved shopping experience.

The Reuse Network team will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you have about the network and the benefits of membership.

This year we are bringing back the Reuse Network Awards which have been kindly sponsored by Viridor and will recognise the incredible achievements of our sector over the past year. At each of the events, one charity will win the prestigious Reuse Organisation of the Year award for impact in their region.
