It’s been a huge pleasure working with Domestic & General over the past few months and we are thrilled that they have chosen to sponsor the Reuse Network Annual Conference awards!
This year’s awards are a real opportunity to celebrate the incredible organisations, volunteers, staff and projects that have continued to thrive despite a challenging 18 months.
It comes as no surprise that there were so many ideas for award categories this year and the whole team at Reuse Network had a difficult time trying to whittle it down to just three categories.
The awards that are up for grabs this year are Volunteer of the Year, Outstanding Community Response and Reuse Organisation of the Year and we can’t wait to recognise our members at the prestigious ceremony. You can read more about the awards here.
Courtesy of Domestic & General, the three shortlisted volunteers will be invited to attend the conference and Gala Dinner, and stay overnight, free of charge and will get to find out who the winner of the award is, in person. It is with thanks to Domestic & General’s sponsorship that these volunteers will get to experience the conference for themselves.
We recently partnered with Domestic & General on one of its campaigns highlighting the benefits of reusing unwanted white goods. Through the campaign, Domestic & General hope to encourage more people to re-think what they do with the white goods they may no longer wish to keep either when they are moving home, redecorating or when they want to buy a new appliance.
On top of all of this, Domestic & General recently became one of the newest ‘Friends of Reuse Network’ and have joined our circle of friends who are supporting our charity and our network of waste-saving, poverty-reducing game-changers continue their charitable work driving a revolution in the communities called home.
We are really looking forward to this year’s award ceremony and want to say a huge thanks to Domestic and General for their sponsorship.
