We are excited to have nominated one of our long-standing members, Newbury Community Resource Centre (NCRC) for the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) Regulatory Excellence Awards 2021!
The awards celebrate outstanding regulatory practice that has achieved positive outcomes in supporting businesses and protecting consumers.
Newbury Community Resource Centre were nominated for the category of Product Safety for making a significant contribution to product safety.
Throughout the COVID-19, NCRC has been a lifeline for the local community providing essential living services, working with local councils, charities and referral agencies to deliver food, furnishing accommodation for homeless people and continuing day services for adults and young people with disabilities.
As part of their Approved Reuse Centre annual audit with the Reuse Network, NCRC was found to have zero audit issues i.e. indicating full compliance from an assessed regulatory, health and safety, and environmental viewpoint.
We look forward to finding out the winners on 10 June 2021.
