Get ready to elevate your impact
This year, our roadshows are designed to offer delegates practical solutions to address our sector’s common challenges and seize opportunities within the circular economy. Expect lively discussions, informative workshops, and opportunities to build meaningful connections with industry peers.
Speaking at the Cardiff Regional Roadshow this year will be Martin Williams, Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency team at the Welsh Government. Martin will be sharing insights into the Welsh Government’s ideas on reuse and repair, as well as sharing ideas on how the reuse sector can fit with policy intentions and capitalise on incoming changes.
Joining Martin will be Phoebe Brown, Director of Repair Cafe Wales, a not-for-profit which supports communities to open repair cafes and to date has saved over 18,500 items from going to landfill. Pheobe will talk about some of the projects at Repair Cafe Wales, as well as sharing updates and thoughts on the future of repair in Wales.
Throughout the day we’ll also be hosting workshops and round table discussions, allowing you to meet with colleagues and industry peers to discuss issues facing the sector, explore partnership working, and define the actions you want to take away from the event.
The Reuse Network team will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the network and the benefits of membership.
