CIWM Cymru Wales Ty Hafan Sorting Warehouse Site Visit

Ty Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales.
Ty Hafan welcomes CIWM members to their sorting warehouse in Bridgend for a fantastic learning and hands-on day where delegates will have the opportunity to:

• learn about Ty Hafan amazing charitable work,
• experience the busy life in a warehouse,
• understand how regional distribution and collections work,
• learn to identify stock appropriate for online, specialist sales, up-cycling or transfer to particular shops, donated stock that requires PAT testing.

Delegates are welcome to bring a bag of donations they can sort, or/and make a donation should they wish to.

DEADLINE FOR BOOKING is Friday 19th July 2019 noon. Places are limited and confirmed when booked online.

All cancellations MUST be sent in writing to celine.anouilh@ciwm.co.uk by 19th July noon for a full refund.

Delegates who do not show up on the day will be charged the full rate at the time of booking.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of CIWM Cymru Wales to change the content and timing of the event. In the unlikely event of us having to cancel the event, CIWM Cymru Wales will make a full refund of the tickets but disclaim any further liability.

PPE Required:

Participants will need to wear comfy warm clothes/layers and comfy footwear.
