Recommerce on the Rise – Monthly Seminar

24 Feb

Thursday 24 Feb 22 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Reuse Network is delighted to welcome JoAnn Vieira, World of Books’ Partnership Development Manager to our next monthly seminar taking place on Thursday 24 February from 11:00 – 12:00.

Kicking off our series this year, will be JoAnn Vieira, World of Books’ Partnership Development Manager. World of Books Group is a company that is pioneering the circular economy, founded on the ethos to do good, protect the planet and help its customers align values of reuse, recycling and sustainability, to make a positive impact.

As consumers grow increasingly keen to change their shopping habits, give back to their communities and focus on repurpose – World of Books will be sharing some thoughts and insights on selling pre-loved goods online, tips and hints, as well as the phenomenal results they have seen so far through their own SaaS software, Shopiago.

The demand for second-hand goods has never been higher. Shopiago, part of the World of Books Group, are leaders in this space, as their software helps maximise each donation online.

Raising money for vital causes and preventing perfectly good items going into landfill is just one way that recommerce is doing its bit for the planet. With consumers rapidly changing their shopping habits to be more ethically minded, and the recent pandemic driving people to shop more online – there has never been a better time to up your game in the world of digital recommerce!

This seminar will be a fantastic time to find out how to develop your online presence, or learn how to take your first steps into online selling.
