2022 Annual Conference

The Reuse Network Annual Conference is a time to celebrate successes, come together to collaborate and create change through forward-thinking.

Our flagship event is back for 2022! After a successful event last year, we are delighted to be returning to Chesford Grange Hotel for a one-day conference on Tuesday 11 October 2022. 

With the cost of living crisis dominating conversations around the country, the message of reuse for social change is being heard. Now more than ever we are seeing reuse charities and social enterprises on the frontline, innovating and developing services to support those facing hardship.  

This conference will be an opportunity to celebrate the sector’s innovations and hear from the trailblazing organisations who are leading the reuse revolution at a time when so many are feeling the effects of government cuts and rising costs.  

We want to share new ideas and discuss the forward-thinking that keeps you all as network leaders of the reuse sector. We’ll be hearing from a wide range of speakers including Reuse Network members, business leaders, academics and more.  


The conference is being held at:

Kenilworth, Warwick

Many of you who have attended our conferences before will know that this hotel is set in 17 acres of beautiful countryside yet is near main motorways and rail routes with Birmingham airport just 16 miles away. The bedrooms are spacious and along with their impressive conference facilities they offer a spa with pool and gym, a restaurant, outdoor terrace and a well-stocked bar! 

Why attend?

This conference is the only conference dedicated to reuse and reuse charities in the UK. Our members provide essential and affordable reused furniture, electrical items and household goods to alleviate poverty and tackle climate change. 

If you want to hear from organisations working on the frontline of reuse as well as industry influencers and policymakers, with a mix of environmental, societal, and economic topics this is the event to come to! 

What happens on the day?

On Tuesday 11 October, registration will commence at 8.30AM with the conference kicking off at 9.30AM. We will have a full day of discussion, ConverStations, and networking. An Exhibitors’ Hall will be found in the coffee and break area, and you will have multiple opportunities to speak directly with our exhibitors about their products and services. 

Following the conference, you will have some time to unwind and relax before our Drinks Reception at 7PM followed by our Gala Dinner at 7:30PM, Awards Ceremony at 9PM and entertainment. 

All members are invited to join us the night before on Monday 10 October from 7PM for a relaxed and informal evening of dinner and networking. The Reuse Network team and Trustees will be on hand to meet you, and we’ll be having a buffet-style dinner in a private dining room. Included in this ticket cost is Bed, Breakfast and an evening meal which will ensure that you wake up ready and prepared for the start of conference the next day. 


Our programme is in development and we will announce speakers, exhibitors and ConverStations as they are confirmed. We want to ensure that we bring you practical and inspiring topics for discussion as well as ample opportunities to network and learn from fellow reuse organisations. 


The Reuse Network Awards aim to recognise, celebrate and motivate performance within our sector and among our members. We will be shortly opening applications to our awards.  Awards applications are open to Reuse Network members only. 


Three fully-funded bursary spaces are available to member organisations with a turnover of £200,000 or less and covers the cost of a 1-day, 1-night delegate ticket.

Every year the Reuse Network Conference attracts CEOs and Senior Managers within Operations, Retail, Warehouse and Logistics across the UK network of furniture reuse organisations. Reuse Network members are independent charities and social enterprises who specialise in reuse activities to alleviate poverty and reduce unemployment. 

The Reuse Network’s annual conference is aimed at not only professionals in the furniture reuse sector but also practical leaders and decision-makers in local and national government, retailers, waste companies, universities and research facilities along with the volunteers and shop floor staff who work at the ‘sharp end’ of the organisations.
