Library of Things Volunteer

An amazing volunteering opportunity has arisen in Wastesavers’ new and exciting Library of Things department, based at The Reuse Centre on Chepstow Road.

Key responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers to the Library of Things
• Assisting with questions regarding the function and availability of items
• Updating the inventory system – checking items in and out
• Managing the maintenance schedule for existing items
• Ensuring stock is tidy and ready for use

Skills Required:

• Enjoy meeting and talking to people
• Ability to follow instructions and work with other members of staff and volunteers
• Excellent customer service skills
• Polite, friendly and positive
• Honest, trustworthy and dependable
• Good communication skills
• Positive about the environmental impact the LOT has on the community and environment
